9 Days Tanzania Classic Safari


Day One

Arrival in Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport,You  will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha / Moshi  where you will spend a night before Safari begins on the next day.You will have the opportunity to go over any last minute questions.At this point  you will also have the chance to leave a bag behind with anything you don’t need on this Safari.Your left-behind gear will be secured at the storage room and will meet you as soon as you back from the trip.

Day Two

 Moshi  –  Tarangire National Park

This morning you will travel to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s largest national parks and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah and up to six thousand elephant. Overnight in Tarangire National Park

Day Three

Full Day at Tarangire National Park

Tarangire Today you have a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire has beautiful scenery and many different areas to explore. Overnight in Tarangire National Park

Day Four

Tarangire National Park  – Lake Manyara National Park

This morning you will travel the short distance to Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the afternoon on a game drive of this park, described as one of the hidden gems of Tanzania. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions and large herds of elephant (which are not shy to come straight up to the vehicle).You will do the game drive in park then you will going to overnight at Lake Manyara National Park

Day Five

Lake Manyara  –  Lake Eyasi

Lake Eyasi is home to the hunter-gathers ethnic group of the Hadzabe Bushmen (they bear similar characteristics to those of Bushmen at Southern Africa). This indigenous tribe are probably the last living in true harmony with nature and are well known for their communication via clicking rather than speech. You will enjoy hunting with them and experiencing their way of life. Overnight at Lake Eyasi

Day Six

Lake Eyasi – Ndutu Area ( Ngorongoro Conservation Area )

After breakfast at Lake Eyasi we will head to the Lake Ndutu area, situated in the Ngorongoro conservation area, part of the southern Serengeti eco-system. Lake Ndutu is alkaline, like most of the other Rift lakes, however the water is still drinkable and used by a wide array of local wildlife.

We arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area. The majority of the wildebeest migration can normally be found on the short-grass plains from December to April. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.You will overnight at Nduttu

Day Seven

Ndutu Area  – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti. Here is home to millions of wilderbeest during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and many other small predators. All afternoon will be spent on game drive before enjoying dinner and the experience of sleeping in the middle of the Serengeti. Overnight in  Serengeti  National Park

 Day Eight

Full Day at Serengeti  National Park

Serengeti With full day in the park you can travel to more remote areas. Whilst other people are congregating around central Serengeti, you will travel further into Western, Southern or Northern Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti  National Park

 Day Nine

Serengeti  National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Ngorongoro Crater An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day. After a few hours game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight on the rim of the Crater at Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day Ten

Ngorongoro Crater – Moshi Town

Ngorongoro Crater This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators. Enjoy a half day game drive in the Crater then later on  drive back to Arusha / Moshi to Overnight
