Mt. Oldonyolengai

Oldonyolengai is a volcano mountain in the north of Tanzania and is part of the volcanic system of the Great Rifft Valley in East Africa.It is located in the eastern Rifft valley,South of both lake Natron and Kenya.Oldonylengai its having 2886 meters ( 9524 feet ).  

It is the only volcano in the world that sometimes erupts natrocarbonatite lava a highly fluid lava that contain almost no silicon.It will take 5 hours to be at Oldonyolengai Mountain from Moshi.Normally we starting to climb at the midnight from lake Natron it is just possible to reach the summits by dawn at a gentle pace. 
The ascent of lengai is demanding an account of the day time heat,lack of water,steep and unstable slope of ash and crumly rocks.From the summits of Oldonyolengai you can see Mount Kilimanjaro to the East side and Ngorongoro 
Crater to the west side.Oldoyolengai means ‘Mountain of God’ in the laguage of the Maasai people who inhabit this area.This Mountain its not techinical climb,but it is a very demanding and sometimes dangerously steep walk and sramble,you should be fit strong and above all very determined.
